Deliverance & Victory

Victory Scriptures

The Reader may receive the greatest benefits from these readings if there is a willingness to:

. Become as a little child, as the Kingdom is only for children.

2. Be ready to get out of the boat because Jesus is on the water outside of your little boat.

3. Place your theology, doctrine and traditions on the altar of God for further understanding correction and purification.

4. Seek to understand with the heart, not with the head, only, as out of the heart come issues of life; “as a man thinks in His heart so is he.”

5. Openly confess faults at the leading of the Holy Spirit for victory & healing. “He that covereth his sins shall not prosper, Prov.28:13).”

6. Remember that before honor is humility. Reconciliation and restitution must often come before victory, (Prov.15:33).”

7. Jesus is Lord, the only wise God, our Savior and it is His Kingdom.

Application: May I suggest a diary of your meditations on the following scriptures in context and note as to why you think that the scripture was selected and why the portion is underlined in each one. Carefully note any new vision or understanding that you receive from the Holy Spirit for your further study.

Jesus answered, “I tell you the truth, no one can enter the Kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit, (John 3:5,6,34). “

“…but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed,  the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life, (John 4:14).”

“The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you are spirit and they are life, (John 6:63).”

“Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of  living water will flow from within him.”  By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified, (John 7:38-39).”

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall ye do:  because I go unto my Father…If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. If ye love me, keep my commandments, (John 14:12-14).

“And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever, the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom  the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you, (John 14:16-17,26).”

But I tell you the truth: It is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Counselor will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you. When he comes, he will convict the world of guilt in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment: in regard to sin, because men do not believe in me;  in regard to righteousness, because I am going to the Father, where you can see me no longer; and in regard to judgment, because the prince of this world now stands condemned. “I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear. But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on His own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. He will bring glory to me by taking from what is mine and making it known to you, (John 16:7-14).”

“And with that he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit” , (John 20:22).”

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth, (Acts 1:8).”

“Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them, (Acts 2:2-4).”

“Exalted to the right hand of God, he has received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear. Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit,  for the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off , even as many as the Lord our God shall call,  (Acts 2:33-39).”

“After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken.  And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the Word of God boldly,  (Acts 4:31).”

“We are witnesses of these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him, (Acts 5:32).”

“When they arrived, they prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Spirit,  because the Holy Spirit had not yet come upon any of them; they had simply been baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus . Then Peter and John placed their hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit. When Simon saw that the Spirit was given at the laying on of the apostles’ hands, he offered them money and said, “Give me also this ability so that everyone on whom I lay my hands may receive the Holy Spirit, (Acts 8:15-19).”

“And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost, (Acts 9:17).”

“While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit came on all who heard the message.  The circumcised believers who had come with Peter were astonished that the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out even on the Gentiles. For they heard them speaking in tongues   and praising God. Then Peter said, “Can anyone keep these people from being baptized with water? They have received the Holy Spirit just as we have,  ( Acts 10:44-47).”

“As I began to speak, the Holy Spirit came on them as he had come on us at the beginning.  Then I remembered what the Lord had said: John baptized with  water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.”   So if God gave them the same gift as he gave us, who believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I to think that I could oppose God, (Acts 11:15-17).”

“While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them, (Acts 13:2).”

“It seemed good to the Holy Spirit and to us not to burden you with anything beyond the following requirements, (Acts 15:28).”

“Paul and His companions traveled throughout the region of Phrygia and Galatia, having been kept by the Holy Spirit from preaching the word in the province of Asia. When they came to the border of Mysia, they tried to enter Bithynia, but the Spirit of Jesus would not allow  them to,(Acts 16:6,7).”

“…and asked them, “ Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?” They answered, “No, we have not even heard that there is a Holy Spirit.” So Paul asked, “Then what baptism did you receive?” “John’s baptism,” they replied. Paul said, “John’s baptism was a baptism of repentance. He told the people to believe in the one coming after him, that is, in Jesus.” On hearing this, they were baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus. When Paul placed His hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke in tongues  and prophesied,  (Acts 19:2-6).”

“Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers.  Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with His own blood, (Acts 20:28.”

“Preaching the Kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him, (Acts 28:31).”

“In order that the righteous requirements of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the sinful nature but according to the Spirit, (Rom. 8:4).”

“You, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the Spirit, if  the Spirit of God lives in you.  And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ. And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit, who lives in you, (Rom. 8:9 & 11).”

“For if you live according to the sinful nature, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live, because those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God . For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of son ship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children, (Rom. 8: 13-16).”

“Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the first fruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies. In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God’s will, (Rom. 8: 23).”

“What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not His own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things (Rom. 8:31).”

“Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord, (Rom. 8:37).”

“For the Kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit, (Rom. 14:17).”

“…to be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles with the priestly duty of proclaiming the gospel of God,  so that the Gentiles might become an offering acceptable to God, sanctified by the Holy Spirit. by the power of signs and miracles, through the power of the Spirit.  So from Jerusalem all the way around to Illyricum, I have fully proclaimed the gospel of Christ. I urge you, brothers, by our Lord Jesus Christ and by the love of the Spirit, to join me in my struggle by praying to God for me,  (Rom. 15:16).”

“For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the Things which are mighty; And base things of the world, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: That no flesh should glory in His presence, (1 Cor. 1:26).”

“My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, (1 Cor. 2:4,10).”

“For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man’s spirit within him? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us. This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit , expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words. The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned, (1 Cor. 2:11-14).”

“Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit lives in you?(1 Cor. 3:16).”

“But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord will, and will know, not the speech of them which are puffed up, but the power. For the Kingdom of God is not in word, but in power, (1 Cor. 4: 19).”

“And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God , (1 Cor. 6:11).”

Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own, (1 Cor. 6:19).”

“Therefore I tell you that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says, “Jesus be cursed,” and no one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit. There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but the same God works all of them in all men. Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. To one there is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, to another the message of  knowledge by means of the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, to another miraculous  powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretationof tongues. All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he gives them to each one, just as he determines, (1 Cor. 12:3-11).”

“But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ, (1 Cor. 15:57).”

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all thing are become new, (II Cor. 5:17).”

“I would like to learn just one thing from you: Did you receive the Spirit by observing the law, or by believing what you heard? Are you so foolish? After beginning with the Spirit, are you now trying to attain your goal by human effort? (Gal. 3: 2-3).”

“He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant–not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into His likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit, (II Cor. 3: 6, 17-18).”

“In order that we, who were the first to hope in Christ, might be for the praise of His glory. And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession to the praise of His glory. (Eph. 1:12-14).”

“That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of His calling, and what the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of His power to us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power, (Eph. 1:17-19).”

“So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature. For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the  sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law… Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit, (Gal. 5:16-18, 22-23, 25),”

“The one who sows to please His sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life, (Gal. 6:8).”

“It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.  Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming. Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ. From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting  ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work,  (Eph. 4:11-16).”

“Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit, (Eph. 5:9).”

“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. (Phil. 4:13).”

“…because our gospel came to you not simply with words, but also with power, with the Holy Spirit and with deep conviction. You know how we lived among you for your sake, (1 Thess. 1:5)”

“Therefore, he who rejects this instruction does not reject man but God, who gives you His Holy Spirit,  (1 Thess. 4:8,9)”

“Do not put out the Spirit’s fire, (1 Thess. 5:19).”

Do not neglect your gift, which was given you through a prophetic message when the body of elders laid their hands on you. Be diligent in these matters; give yourself wholly to them, so that everyone may see your progress  Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers ,  (1 Tim.4:14-16).”

“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of powers, and of love, and of a sound mind,  (2 Tim. 1: 7).”

“But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God Having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them, (2 Tim. 3:1-5).”

“God also testified to it by signs, wonders and various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to His will , (Heb. 2:4).”

“And have tasted the good Word of God, and the powers of the world to come ,(Heb. 6: 5).”

“For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof. For the law  made  nothing  perfect, (Heb. 7:18).”

“In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away, (Heb. 8:13).”

“How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God, (Heb. 9:14).”

“The Holy Spirit also testifies to us about this. First he says: “This is the covenant I will make with them after that time, says the Lord. I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds.” then he adds: “Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more.” And where these have been forgiven, there is no longer any sacrifice for sin. Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, His body, (Heb. 10:15-20).”

“For prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit, (2 Pet. 1:21).”

“My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the Father in our defense Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for  the sins of the whole world. We know that we have come to know him if we obey His commands. The man who says, “I know him,”  but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But if anyone obeys His word, God’s love  is truly made complete in him. This is how we know we are in him: Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did , (1 John 2:1-6).”

“Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God and receive from him anything we ask, because we obey His commands and do what pleases him. And this is His command: to believe in the name of His Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us. Those who obey His commands live in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us, (1 John 3:21-24).”

“We know that we live in him and he in us, because he has given us of His Spirit, (1 John 4:13).”

“For whatsoever is born of God over cometh the world: and this is the victory that over cometh the world, even our faith, (1 John 5:4).”

“This is the one who came by water and blood  Jesus Christ. He did not come by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth. For there are three that testify: the Spirit, the water and the blood; and the three are in agreement, (1 John 5:6-8).”

“Woe to them! They have taken the way of Cain; they have rushed for profit into Balaam’s error;  they have been destroyed in Korah’s rebellion. These men are blemishes at your love feasts, eating with you without the slightest qualm.; shepherds who feed only themselves. They are clouds without rain, blown along by the wind; autumn trees, without fruit and uprooted,  twice dead. They are wild waves of the sea, foaming up their shame; wandering stars, for whom blackest darkness has been reserved forever, (Jude 11-13, warnings for shepherds).”

“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God. (Rev. 2:7) And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death, (Rev. 12:11).”

“And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over His image, and over His mark, and over the number of His name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God. (Revelation 15:2)

‘The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!”  And let him who hears say, “Come!” Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life, (Rev. 22:17).”
