12/30/06  “Church”
Church is people...2 or 3+.  A friend was telling me about his "church" and due to the new pastor about 200 people have left.  My comment to him was that it seems to me that,  "the "Church" has left the building."  So I doubt that we would have much to wrestle about concerning what is: "church."  You might enjoy taking a tour through the "History"  Link from www.Trinty-Aloha.org

The apostolic ministry of Eph.4:11 might be seen from a secular level as:  CEO, Quality Control, Sales, Mfg. & Parts.  In the New Testament I see several types of gathering.

One on one mentoring as with Paul and Timothy.  Seems Elders always has a disciple in training.
Discipleship training of about 12 men.
Saturday evening house church gatherings and through the week, the day seemed unimportant.
The gathering of Elders to maintain the unity of the faith in the bond of peace perhaps weekly.
Special area wide gatherings of all house churches for the special ministry of the Elders (Eph.4:1-16)  perhaps monthly or as needed.

The Church of Jesus Christ is like a piano when all of the keys are in place and functioning properly and the strings are well tuned then the Holy Spirit can make wonderful heavenly music and minister to the needs of God's people.  Ever tried to play a badly tuned piano with stuck keys.

Radio is a wonderful gift to reaching folks with the Good News of Salvation and the Kingdom.  But then the folks need to be pointed towards a 'House Church" or a "Discipleship Training Center" where they can grow.  The Internet can also be a help towards this as well.  The Internet is a wonderful teaching tool, I now have about 100 folks a day getting into my web site for Christian information and teachings.
