The Early Church basic meeting time was Saturday evening but I see no "Law" in
scripture as to when to come together. Saturday is nice as the meeting can go
as long as needed without a work day the next morning. Some of our meeting have
gone to 3-4 in the mornings when the Holy Spirit has lots of freedom.

Heather shared with me the Moses - Jesus - Elijah illustration concerning the
Orthodox / Cathlolic who to me are like the Saducees / Pharisees and the the
Prophetic Movement like the Charismaniac granola flaked out bunch. I feel like
clowns to the left bozos to the right stuck in the middle again. Then there are
the Protestants who, well, whatever.

Purpose for emailing. Do you have a 'liturgy' that you follow (with, opportunity
for the Holy Spirit to flow, I assume)? If you do I would appreciate if you
could let me know if it's on your web site and where.
Ken:
That is also in the same web address. I follow the Tabernacle of Moses as the
prophetic guide. It fits very well with the N.T. Early Church Liturgy. Very
Informal but also very profound.

I am a musician, sing and lead worship. I love gospel and the blues type music.
I heard of a U2charist, where a local church used the music of U2 during the
service. I want the music to engage the worshipers I could see lights, icons,
incense, music all going on in a service.
Ken:
Start with songs of Joy and Victory then move to songs of Praise and then in the
end of the gathering go to songs of Worship and leave time for the Holy Spirit
to "sing a new song." Praise is about God, Worship is to God. It is a
procession. The Tabernacle liturgy has 7 steps or markers of importance. The
music should flow in support of what the Holy Spirit would like to do. There is
a very clear sequence from the door of the Tabernacle (Jesus) to the Holy of
Holies where great and mighty signs are done by the apostles or leaders. You
will find more details on my web site. Keep me posted as to how you get along
with it. Remember the Gospel of the Kingdom is to the heart and not to the head
only. Only in changing the heart is the soul changes or corrected. Knowing
stuff does little to change anyone. That is why we have so many actor's (hypocrates)
in the "church." They look good on the outside but within it truly stinks.
Also this is not set in concrete, the Holy Spirit may take a gathering and
totally up end your thoughts and be on teaching or healing. It is the Rhema
that changes people not the Logos. The Holy Spirit is always in charge of the
orchesta. Our part is to have our instruments in working order and tuned
correctly.
